Give me back my November. Actually on second thought, please don't. So yeah, changing the blog design was really troublesome. I'm beginning to think maybe I should just leave the background plain. In the end I decided to settle with Sanae and Kogasa; it seems to fit in with the overall theme quite well. While I'm not much of a fan of that particular pairing or just any pairings in general,
Hang in There, Kogasa-san can be quite fun from time to time.
Anyway remember back in my first post I mentioned a manga series called
Bloody Cross? Well I went back and read up to the latest chapter, since I liked the cast and thought the story was actually getting a bit more interesting as it progressed. However the days of seeing Tsukimiya and Hinata coming together are still far ahead, because I'm getting the feeling that Shiwo just loves to pit them against each other.

Tsukimiya disappeared for a few good chapters, having been captured by a new organization called "Divine Burial (神葬,
Shinsou)" who really showed up out of nowhere and overwhelmed the main cast with their superior numbers and prowess. They claim that their objective is to locate and take care of every single one of God's Inheritance, and supposedly they are also in charge of the second Crusade (?) after the first one finished without a victor. Anyway the Divine Burial guys are a secretive lot and literally live in a parallel or self-created dimension from what I understand. It's impossible to get in or out by normal means, as Hinata and Nao found out the hard way. Hinata had intended for Nao to go in as a spy alone but he was outsmarted by Izumi who forced him to go along as well. With the help of two traitors from Divine Burial - Ooma and Kanade, the captains of the third and sixth divisions respectively, Hinata and Nao manage to sneak in and make contact with Izumi. After rumours of traitors within Divine Burial's ranks begin to spread, Kanade (who started the rumours herself) and Ooma successfully frame the fourth division captain Yamabuki, who is then immediately executed.
Too bad
Bloody Cross is that kind of story where one good outcome is usually followed up by two or three bad ones. Hinata and Nao, who are celebrating after running into Tsukimiya and thus confirming that she is safe and sound, are informed by Kanade that a new captain has been appointed for the fourth division. Hinata and Nao reckon something like that has nothing to do with little grunts like them. Cue to Tsukimiya reporting in as the new captain. From here on things get a bit chaotic, Hinata finds out that Tsukimiya has been brainwashed (because everyone gets brainwashed these days) into thinking that she has always been a part of Divine Burial; Ooma gets shot in the head by Kanade after he escapes; Kanade herself gets cut down by the boss' inspector Setsu (unconfirmed) after he finds out that she framed Yamabuki; and from what I understand Hinata and Nao have successfully ran away and returned to Arcana. What I do know for sure though, is that I'm terrible at writing summaries.

Don't worry Shuu, I will protect you. |
Random picture time. Not that I watch
Guilty Crown but I find this one pretty amusing; Inori's expression is reminding me a bit of the Yuno Gasai face, which mind you is perhaps the most parodied meme this
year season.

Of course it's okay to call her "Boob-chan" |
Wait that was the wrong choice?! Nitro+'s latest effort
Sonicomi, a photo-shooting game featuring the company's mascot Super
BoobSonico. It's not too bad, decent soundtrack and graphics with mildly enjoyable characters but it's not like anyone is actually playing it for those things right? The photo-shoot part is reasonably well-done though. Um as we all know besides being a glamour model and an university student majoring in marine biology, Sonico also plays the guitar and sings in a band called First Cosmic Velocity (第一宇宙速度). In fact, they just released their first album,
I didn't think Fuuri could be even more loaded than Sonico. Axanael was sure a while ago. The album features
SUPERORBITAL, the theme song of Sonicomi that sounds somewhat like Miku's
終わり行く世界と、最後の僕ら。. It is a fairly generic pop/pop-rock album so don't expect anything too amazing out of it (except maybe
Theme of F.A.V., a 7-minute-and-half-long song made up of 3 individual parts), unless of course you are into that genre of music.
That felt like a rather long post and I had already forgotten how I was going to end it.
